Cushing Terrell is seeking an Accounting Manager in Billings, Montana.

What you will bring to the table: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and be a Licensed Certified Public Accountant 10+ years of relevant accounting experience Ability and interest in working with ERP system Understanding of project accounting and billing including the ability to analyze project profitability Understanding of sales, excise, and use tax report and preparation Ability to understand and assist with client billing Knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to adopt of new accounting principles when necessary Knowledge of payroll accounting including experience with 401k administration as it relates to payroll Experience managing/supervising various accounting functions, including accounts payable & expense reports Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, V-lookups, and other functions for financial reporting Strong mathematical, analytical skills, written skills, oral communication skills and desire to learn new systems As a Team Member at Cushing Terrell, you will… Understand project accounting and billing including the ability to analyze, reconcile and review general ledger accounts Prepare Month-end closing procedures, financial review & monthly reporting package Responsible for the annual audit preparation Assist with the preparation of the annual financial budget Work with external accountants to coordinate income tax filing preparation.
Assist the Company’s finance director on financial projects as requested by the Board The ability to work on Special projects as needed The majority of the time a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements.
This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist and reach.
On occasion individuals will be required to visit another office or attend off site meetings.
Compensation The expected salary range for this position is $78,000 to $100,000 annually and is based on the location posted: Billings, Montana.
Actual pay will be determined based on your years of experience, licensure status, location, level of proficiency, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law).
The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
