*Position Description*: The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing client’s loss exposures and controls as they relate to Workers’ Compensation concerns, as well as assisting with the implementation of safety programs and loss control initiatives.
Typical services to be provided may include: Recommendations concerning hazard control; training and educational assistance; guidance and assistance in program development; and assistance/guidance in Federal and/or State regulatory compliance.
Strong verbal presentation and organizational skills are required.
*Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following*: - Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Business Management, Public Administration or comparable experience.
- Minimum of five years experience in the areas of safety and loss control.
Experience working with workers’ compensation insurance is a plus.
- Effective leadership qualities.
- Broad knowledge of OSHA regulatory standards and applicable State codes/statutes.
- Ability to drive and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Overnight travel is required.
- Computer knowledge to support functional activities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct and present training sessions, perform safety audits, and work effectively with client administrative staff and employees.
