This cradle was made in the 1870's in Louisville, Ky.
It stayed in the same family until 10 years ago when the last family member had no one to inherit it.
He assured me that every baby that slept in this cradle was named Mary, his mother being the last Mary to sleep in it.
I believe the wood is Mahogany and the craftmanship is beautiful.
Has wonderful condition, you can tell it has been loved and cared for! I am asking $1,100.
