Registered Dental Hygienist

Remington Family Dental is looking for a Full Time Maternity Leave Coverage, Registered Dental Hygienist.
Coverage needed May 1st, 2024- August 29th, 2024.
The ideal candidate is someone who works well with the team, is dependable, and has excellent patient care.
We will be looking for 3 days per week, Mon- Wed 8a-5p with and occasional Friday 8a-12pm, with additional hours offered at partnering practices if desired.
Full time employment oppertunites avalible after Maternity leave coverage if desired.
Job Description: Provide appropriate dental hygiene care to patients.
Assist dentist as required and support other Dental Hygienists and assistants as necessary.
_*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*_ General Duties: Clean patient’s teeth Examine patient’s mouth and teeth for signs of disease Examine head and neck for signs of oral disease Teach patients proper oral hygiene techniques such as brushing, flossing and proper nutrition Evaluate patient’s needs, take diagnostic quality radiographs Apply preventative materials such as fluoride and sealants Remove calculus and plaque from all areas of the teeth Explain needed treatment to patient and treatment plan Help patient feel comfortable in dental environment Practice-specific Duties: * Assist dentist as directed * Provide other hygienist and assistants support as needed * Make timely recordings of treatment * Make post-operative follow-up phone calls as needed * Assist in office duties as needed * Maintain operatory to required OSHA and sanitation standards * Stock operatory as needed * End-of-day cleaning duties _*Minimum Qualifications (Experience/Education):*_ * Degree from an accredited dental hygiene school * MT Licensure: * Required – Dental Hygiene Licensure * Preferred – Local Anesthetic Licensure * Maintain licensure requirements * Working knowledge of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones and copiers If a full time position is offer after temp commitments are fufilled, We offer: Dental Medical Supplemental Insurance Vision Life Insurance CE/Professional Development Allowance Scrub Benefit Holiday Pay PTO Bonus System and a Wonderful office environment Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $40.
