Summary/Objective
The Recruiter position identifies, screens, interviews, and communicates the position and program details to the applicant.
The Recruiter position will ensure that the candidate being considered meets the employer's job description requirements and the onboarding process has been completed.
Essential Functions
Communicate position and program details to candidates
Passionately articulate and demonstrate our organizational culture, mission and vision to potential candidates and community partners
Create and publish job ads in various portals
Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees
Screen resumes and job applications
Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior, and executive)
Track hiring metrics, including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire
Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
Host and participate in job fairs
Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
Ensure completion of all necessary new hire paperwork and documentation
Track completion of orientation for all new employees and new managers
Facilitate the organizational New Employee Orientation and schedule all guest presenters
Collaborate within the Administration department to develop retention strategies

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the organization.
Work Environment
This job operates in a general office setting.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, telephones, and smartphones.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Occasional travel is expected for this position.
Required Education, Experience, or Eligibility Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years in Customer Service/Recruitment or other equivalent experience
Knowledge of sourcing techniques, social media, and niche recruitment
Preferred Education and Experience
Three years of professional recruitment experience
HRCI or SHRM certification
