Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and recorded accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries, providing excellent customer service
- Assist guests with any requests or issues they may have during their stay
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required
Skills:
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing exceptional guest service
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially if fluent in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests
- Knowledge of hospitality management systems and front desk operations
- Ability to handle guest relations with professionalism and tact
- Strong customer service skills, including problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Bilingual proficiency is preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse range of guests
- Familiarity with guest services procedures, including check-in/check-out processes and room reservations
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
