*Shipton's Big R is a Farm/Ranch retail business that has been in business 75 years and counting! We are looking for a CDL driver that want's to be home every evening.

*Essential Job Functions*
* *Responsible for driving company vehicles, including those that require a CDL, to deliver freight to multiple locations according to the Department of Transportation guidelines.
*
* *On a monthly basis and at the request of the buyer, responsible for picking up local orders from vendors.
*
* *On a daily basis, responsible for inspecting all company vehicles, trailer and stand-up forklift.
Must communicate any issues to the DC manager on the same day.
*
* *Will load or unload freight from trucks on an as needed basis.
*
* *Occasionally and at the manager’s discretion, will perform the receiving function, time permitting.
*
*Minimum Requirements*
* *Must have a valid and current CDL.
*
* *Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening as required by the DOT.
*
* *Must have 3-5 years experience driving semi-trailers and/or vans.
*
* *Must have ability to haul gooseneck and bumper pull trailers.
*
* *Must report any traffic violation whether on or off the job or personal or company vehicle according to DOT guidelines.
*
* *Must be able to be forklift certified according to Shipton’s Big R Policy.
*
* *Must be able to work with and around the products we carry including feed, seed, or poultry (chickens, ducks, geese and the like) or small animals.
*
* *Must have tolerance to dust, noise, vibration, extreme heat/cold and fumes.
*
* *Must be able to work with and around cleaning supplies.
*
* *Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift up to 50 pounds and stand for an extended period of time.
*
* *Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol pre-employment test as well as on-going random/post-accident drug tests, and a DOT physical.
*
* *Must have forklift experience.
*
* *Prefer (but not required) experience performing simple repairs to equipment.
*
* *Must have ability to climb a ladder.
*
* *Must have reliable transportation*.
