*Full-time: Monday - Friday, daytime hours with flexibility*
SUMMARY: This position provides safe transportation of residents and staff members to designated sites.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Transportation:
Safely transports residents and staff members to designated sites
Currier for the Regional campuses delivering to and from the regionals inclusive of the main campus, Gainan Commons, the Legacy Campus and other areas as assigned
Change batteries in pendants, wall mounts and doors in down time
Front entrance snow removal, salting entrance and sidewalks in the winter, light yard work in other months as time allows
Keeps bus/van in safe working condition
Performs other duties as assigned by Life Enrichment Coordinator
Communication:
Coordinates schedule with supervisor and Administrative Assistant for the most efficient route while driving
Works cohesively with the Administrative Assistant, Supervisor and Health Director to provide excellent customer service to our residents
Communicates effectively with residents, co-workers and guests
Has daily contact with residents and staff
Administers professional conduct with contacts at various sites where residents are transported
Establishes a positive rapport with all staff members, residents and outside contacts
Promotes and delivers high quality service to the residents, staff members of the facility

Employee Responsibilities:
Follows policy and procedures on annual TB testing
Follows policy and procedures on annual influenza vaccinations
Attends all mandatory in-services
Performs other duties as assigned by the Life Enrichment Coordinator or person in charge of area where work is being done
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge and skills acquired through completion of high school or GED.
Must possess a valid MT Drivers License, CDL endorsement preferred but not required.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
Must possess a good driving record
Must be able to communicate and interact effectively in a professional manner
Ability to function independently in performing assigned duties
Must be able to respond to management and staff level employees needs in a timely and professional manner
Performs job tasks following established procedures and reports problems or concerns to supervisor
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires the ability to stand, bend, lift, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
