School Bus Drivers- Shepherd Mt
Shepherd School District #37 has several driving positions open, and we are accepting applications for School Bus drivers.
Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements is preferred, but we offer paid CDL training for qualified applicants.

New salary range effective 07/01/23- $17.
56 - $20.
87 per hour for route drivers, and $18.
90 for substitute drivers, depending on experience, with 4 Hours per day guaranteed for route drivers.
Longevity pay of up to $2.
00 per hour is available.
Route drivers are scheduled a minimum of 20 hrs a week with additional hours available with mid-day routes, activity and class trips.
As a School Bus Driver, your major responsibilities will be:
Safely transport passengers
Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections
Assists students in the loading and unloading process.
*Position Requirements:*
Good verbal communication skills
At least 21 years old with 5 years driving experience, valid license and good driving record.
Position is contingent on passing a background check, drug screen & DOT physical.
CDL with air brake, passenger and school bus endorsements preferred,
however we offer paid training and can train you for obtaining the CDL license.
Great job with early morning/afternoon runs, midday runs and an average of 25 activity trips per month.

These positions are able to bid activity trips for additional hours.
