Class A CDL regional vehicle hauler for family owned auto auction in its fourth decade of service.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
• Regional driving, approximately 550 mile routes from the home base in Billings, MT
• Communicating and coordinating with dispatcher
• Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
• Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it
• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
• Reporting defects, accidents and violations
• Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.
)
• Loading and unloading cargo.
Vehicles are delivered to and picked up from customers to and from the home base in Billings, MT.
• Interacting with customers in a professional manner
• Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports
• Performing cargo inspections and recording delivery details
• Verifying loads for accuracy
*Skills and Qualifications:*
* Class A CDL required.
* A clean driving record
* Medical Examiner's Certificate
*Salary and Benefits:*
* Salary: $70,000.
