Truck Driver
Route Driver needed for a division of a large, Northwest, family-owned corporation.
REQUIRES: Six months of experience, a neat/clean appearance due to customer contact, a Class `A` CDL License with a Hazmat Endorsement, and a minimum age of at least 21 for insurance purposes.
Experience with Elogs a plus.
Will perform some warehouse duties including: loading/unloading of delivery trucks, processing & pulling orders, and maintaining the security, safety and cleanliness of the facility.
This is a full-time, long term position, working Monday-Friday, day shift.
No weekend work.
Pay is DOE - hourly with OT.

Duties:
- Transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other appropriate equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
- Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of freight
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks to ensure they are in proper working order
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a truck driver
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus
Skills:
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Proficiency in maneuvering different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, tankers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers
- Knowledge of proper cargo loading and securing techniques
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems or other routing tools
