We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local Driver to join our team.
As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations within a designated area.
This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and ability to drive box trucks .

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or other assigned vehicle
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods and materials from the vehicle
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or changes in schedule
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [insert weight]) repeatedly throughout the day
- Familiarity with local roads and routes within the designated area
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
