Description:
Operates a commercial floater for the purpose of applying crop inputs to producer's fields.
In addition, operates and maintains single axle, tandem axle, or semi- trucks and other equipment.
Other functions may include maintenance of equipment, plant, operation of forklifts, loaders, operating tender trucks, filling fertilizer tanks and bins, loading customers' vehicles with product, unloading of deliveries and other duties as required.
Performs all job functions in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction and maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization.
Requirements:
· Precisely blends fertilizers and agricultural crop protection products based on recommendations and label directions.
· Responsible for accurate application of fertilizer and/or chemicals per blend sheet specifications
· Continuously follows the safety guidelines and programs established by Town and Country Supply.
· Performs jobs safely and in compliance with environmental regulations.
· Loads and unloads inbound and outbound inventory.
· Obtain shipping bills of lading and necessary signatures and return completed paper work to agronomy office.
To maintain any related records required.
· Remove empty skids from trailer truck and carry to designated piling area.
· Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking, on a daily basis, oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires.
· Maintains facility and equipment so that they have a good appearance and are always clean and in working order.
· Communicates with managers and agronomists to assure safe, accurate quality, efficient and timely application.
· Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership in his/her work and application equipment.
· Interacts with customers in a professional manor.
· Provides outstanding and courteous customer service.
· Performs mechanic work on selected vehicles.
· Completes applicator logs and reports.

· Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times.
· Implements, promotes, and supports the Town and Country agronomy program and culture.
· Keeps the Location Manager informed of operational, customer, vendors, or employee issues that may arise.
· Keeps facility, equipment, and application records as required.
· Assists in keeping all inside and outside work areas and vehicles and field equipment extremely clean, neat and orderly.
· Be courteous and have good people skills.
· Maintain records for work repairs of vehicles and field equipment.
· Drive in a safe manner.
· Be able to obtain and maintain a CDL license with all necessary endorsements.
· Performs additional tasks as required.
· Works in any area of operation or production as assigned
· Drivers will adhere to the rules and laws established by local, state, and federal agencies.
Any moving traffic violations and fines will be the driver’s responsibility.
· Help and Train Seasonal Employees.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use Forklift to move product around warehouse.
Help organize warehouse during down time.
Work on field equipment, small engine repair.
Assist with inventory counts.
