Delivery Driver

This job pays a guarantee rate.
Hours are minimal and paid for 6 hours per day even if done in less.
This job can be labor intensive and does require good mobility and ability to securely strap various loads and deliver on a scheduled time.
Current locations for this job are in Casper and Sheridan.
Responsibilities: - Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations - Load and unload cargo - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safety of the cargo - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition - Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption - Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns Qualifications: - Complete and pass a pre employment drug and alcohol screen, background scree, and Motor Vehicle Report.
- Pass an annual MVR thereafter.
- Experience operating trucks with manual transmissions - Ability to load, secure and unload cargo.
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards - Basic automotive repair skills for minor maintenance tasks on the truck - Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers - Ability to follow directions, read maps, and navigate efficiently to different destinations - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules and deadlines Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
