A2/A2 Jersey Milk Cow Cross - $4,000 (Billings)

Meet Duchess, a beautiful and sweet A2/A2 Jersey/red angus milk cow.
Duchess is 4 years old and has had 2 easy calvings, both of which were without complications or help.
She was bred back to a Jersey and is expected to calve May 21st.
She produces around a gallon a day with once a day milkings.
Her calf has been with her since birth, so I calf-share while milking.
I’ve only ever hand milked her.
She will come to her name being called and is halter/lead broke.
I had her tested and she came back as A2/A2 with high beta casin levels, which is perfect milk for cheese making! Being 1/2 Jersey, 1/2 red angus she will keep her condition way better than a pure Jersey cow.
