Beautiful campus environment that features our MSUB Mile walking path Duties and Responsibilities The Program Coordinator II Licensure & Field Placement Technician will be a part of the Dean’s Team assisting both the Field Placement and Licensure Director and the Dean.
This is a public facing position.
This position is responsible for collaborating with to ensure a seamless and enriching experience for all students in field placements.
This position will assist in development and coordination of field placements, assist in student and cooperating teacher training, and secure field site MOUs.
The Program Coordinator II will guide students through the licensure application process ensuring completion and compliance, coordinate background checks, and maintain accurate records and confidentiality.
This position is also responsible for coordinating social media for the College of Education, assisting with website creation and maintenance, organizing and attending COE events, and maintaining the Licensure and Field Placement Director’s calendar.
The Program Coordinator II will field phone calls and respond to emails as directed by the Field Experience and Licensure Director and the Dean.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a well organized and neat entry space to the Dean’s Suite Cultivate relationships and maintain a positive attitude Manage placement process for students in the field Coordinate logistical aspects of placements including scheduling, orientation, and evaluations Stay updated on Montana teacher licensure and PEPPs Standards Intake and review student applications Guide students through the licensure application process Maintain accurate and confidential digital files Plan and organize COE events in coordination with the Dean’s Team Track supervisors and cooperating teachers Track student assignments Primary reviewer of Criminal Background Checks Review student GPAs and assist with admission to Teacher Education Develop and track field site MOUs  Develop and maintain spreadsheets for various purposes Write admission, placement, and licensure letters Work with business office and HR Generate and analyze budgetary and Tevera and Qualtrics reports Developing surveys and other data collection methods and collating the data Assist with CAEP and other accreditations QUALITIES: Detail oriented Highly organized Ability to manage multiple complex projects at one time Ability to handle change Ability to think critically and solve problems Punctuality Excellent communication skills—verbal and written Ability to understand and analyze data Excellent customer service skills Ability to manage difficult or emotional situations Meets commitments PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to sit at desk and work for long periods of time Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds Ability to drive Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills Education Required: High School Diploma Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years of administrative work or the equivalent Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills Education Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s Degree The Successful Candidate Will Special Requirements Physical Demands This position has supervisory duties?
