65+ per hour, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU’s compensation plan.
RVU’s full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range.

Primary Purpose: Provides direct leadership for RVU-MCOM Military Medicine Track students and administrative support to the Director of Military Medicine.
Coordinates educational activities, training events, and other projects related to the Military Medicine Track.
Works closely with members of the Clinical Sciences Department and other departments to achieve the medical school's mission.
Essential Job Functions: Act as the primary point of contact for students, staff & faculty related to military education.
Coordinate all aspects of Military Medicine track events.
Ensure Military Medicine Track compliance with university policies and procedures.
Assist the Director of Tracks and Electives in developing, promoting, and coordinating community based educational opportunities and events for military students by interfacing with leaders in the civilian and military community.
Maintain military curriculum, schedule military presenters, and coordinate student projects.
Support the recruitment of RVU students to the HPSP scholarship track and military recruiters to ensure student compliance with HPSP requirements.
Implement and coordinate Military clinical rotations and other learning and networking opportunities.
Guide HPSP students in military Residency applications and codify military residency match results.
Work with Marketing Department on public relations development and dissemination of informational material to support community tracks and increase awareness of the RVU Military community.
Support and provide guidance to the Student Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (SAMOPS).
Schedule and attend Track meetings and prepare minutes.
Coordinate transportation and hotel needs for students, faculty and guests related to Military track events.
Maintain databases related to the Military medicine track and related research.
Maintain Military Medicine track financial data, analyze, and prepare expense reports.
Coordinate acquisition and maintenance of supplies with appropriate partners.
Coordinate maintenance and distribution of simulation equipment.
Work closely with the Director of Tracks and Electives and the Chair of Clinical Sciences to coordinate and participate in educational activities for all RVU-MCOM students.
Help build a culture that respects, values, and promotes diversity within an atmosphere of access, equity, and inclusion.
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant/Associate Dean or Dean of RVU-MCOM.
Marginal Job Functions: Some travel as needed.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Highly efficient data entry and computer skills including Microsoft apps.
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential material.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be a creative, strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good time management skills and the ability to meet short deadlines.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, team-based environment.
Demonstrated commitment to valuing equality, diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications: some college from an accredited institution or equivalent experience Minimum of three (3) years administrative experience or equivalent training.
Prior military service.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or four (4) years work experience in an administrative capacity.
Career (retired) military service.
Served in a medical career field in the military.
Prior Senior Enlisted service (at the grade of E-8 or higher) in the US military Experience in medical/casualty simulation.
Event planning, coordination experience.
Basic understanding of medical knowledge and terminology.
Experience working with community organizations and other agencies (eg.
law enforcement) Final applicant will be required to pass background check and drug screening.
