Duties:
- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care
- Perform basic medical procedures and tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Assist with patient hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing and perform basic lab procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with wound care and dressing changes
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a nursing assistant or in a similar healthcare role preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks is a plus
- Experience working in Long term care settings.
- Vital Sign
- Experience with airway management procedures, gastric lavage, or durable medical equipment (DME) is a plus
- Ability to work effectively with children of all ages
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $1,500.
00 - $1,680.
