We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Billings, MT.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in patient care within our post-acute care facility, contributing to the overall well-being and recovery of our patients.
*Nurse Practitioner Job Responsibilities:*
* Patient Rounding: Conduct regular rounds on patients in the post-acute care facility, assessing their medical needs, progress, and addressing any concerns.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring comprehensive and patient-centered treatment.
* Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures: Perform necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to support patient care and recovery.
* Medication Management: Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with established protocols and patient needs.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
* Patient Education: Provide education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
*Qualifications:*
* Nurse Practitioner Certification: Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Montana.
* Experience: Previous experience in post-acute care or a similar setting is preferred.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
* Team Player: Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
* Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize and manage a busy schedule.
* Compassion: Demonstrated empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
