Director of Nursing (DNS) Location: Lewistown, MT Sign- On Bonus $10,000!!! Based off experiences (Salary $75,000-$85,000) Job Summary: Central Montana Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking dedicated Director of Nursing (DNS) to like yourself, to help us continue our commitment to making a real difference in our communities all while being able to manage the day-to-day operations, activities and success of the resident care staff.

Education, Licensure, and Experience: Required: Current Registered Nursing license in Montana Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing Preferred: Certification in Rehab Nursing, geriatrics, or psychiatric nursing Preferred: Minimum two years' experience as a nursing services supervisor in a long-term care.

Establishes systems for care planning, including assessments, plan of treatment, objectives and goals, evaluations and discharge planning.
Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, coaching, and conducting performance appraisals Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of certification laws and requirements, survey requirements and Medicare program.
Validates that reporting departments consistently meet state and federal requirements for long-term care facilities for licensure.
Validates existence of a quality assurance program for nursing services and coordinates interdisciplinary quality assurance program.
Directs the functions and activities of the ED in his/her absence.
