Cashier

The primary responsibilities of the Cashier position are to maintain outstanding and helpful customer service, process sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently, and cash register operations as well as to support the store management and team associates.
Responsibilities: Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
Learn proper procedures for orders, special orders, purchase orders, returns, payment on account, and merchandise receiving.
Greet customers as they enter the store and thank each customer as they exit the store.
Answer incoming phone calls in a pleasant and effective manner.
Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers.
Process customers quickly, efficiently and effectively.
Process cash, credit card and charge transactions accurately following all company procedures.
Issue proper receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
Count cash drawer at opening and close every day.
Minimum Requirements: High School degree.
Computer literacy a must.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to multitask and follow direction.
Experience in a retail environment either in cashier, sales, or back office preferred.
While not a requirement, experience in the hardware environment would be helpful.
