*Summary/objective*
As an Outside Sales Specialist-Industrial and Safety Products, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and selling safety and industrial-related products and services to businesses, industries, and organizations.
You will play a vital role in promoting workplace safety and ensuring that clients have the tools and knowledge to maintain a secure work environment.

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base within the industrial and safety products market.
* Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and assess market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication, product demonstrations, and providing exceptional customer service.
* Prospect and qualify new leads through cold calling, networking events, and referrals to generate new business opportunities.
* Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective promotional materials, sales presentations, and product training programs.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates on sales activities to the management team.
* Stay up to date with industry developments, product innovations, and regulatory requirements related to industrial and safety products.
* Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent the company and promote our products and services.
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale with customers to ensure profitable and sustainable business relationships.
* Coordinate with internal departments, including logistics, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery of products.
*Competencies*
* Strong knowledge of industrial and safety products, including but not limited to personal protective equipment (PPE), technical safety products, machinery, and tools.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Required education and experience.

* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.

* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
* Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably within the industrial and safety products industry.
