DESCRIPTION: The marketing specialist will be used mainly to support the Marketing department in its primary digital communication, and administrative duties.
This employee will assist in organizing marketing campaigns and developing social media strategies initialed by Wind River Hotel & Casino and Northern Arapaho Enterprises.
This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.
DUTIES:
* Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.
* Supporting marketing executives in organizing various projects
* Planning and executing social media post on Facebook, Instagram, and other company reputation platforms
* Collaboration on social media strategy creation, writing/ creating content, and publishing content based on editorial calendars.
* Moderate all user-generated content on social media and online review platforms in line with the moderation policy for each community
* Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/ metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
* Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.
) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
* Must always practice and maintain confidentiality
* All other duties as assigned
Skills:
* Knowledge in Microsoft Office
* Knowledge in Microsoft Excel
* Must have strong PC skills
* Must have strong note taking skills
* Must have Excellent communication skills-Written, Verbal, and Listening.
* Must have ability to multi-task
* Must have knowledge of Blue Host/ Word Press/ Website management

REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate degree in communications, Marketing, Business, New/ Digital Media, Public Relations or similar; BA/BS in advertising, PR, Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage
* Proven experience as a marketing assistant and/ or social media specialist
* Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
* Demonstrate ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
* Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Business Manager, etc.
)
* Creative and open to new ideas
* Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
* Exquisite communication and people skills
* Ability to look at and analyze basic data
* Proven experience and knowledge of basic casino operations and promotions
* Available night, weekends, holidays, and other times as deemed fit by Director of Marketing

* Must have significant experience in a gaming environment

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
* Must be 18 at time of hire
* Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

* Must have a valid Wyoming Driver's license
