*Summary*
The Marketing and Business Development Manager will help to develop and deliver a comprehensive strategic and tactical plan for business development and brand awareness of My Green Earth Beef.
This role will be responsible for sales, marketing and branding to drive product and channel strategies to continue the growth of My Green Earth Beef.
*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
* Developing, implementing, and managing long-term business development initiatives in line with overall objectives & strategy.
These include preparation of the business plan, exploring new markets, targeting new customers and identifying growth opportunities with existing customers
* Market mapping - Design and implementation of customer and market research and creating effective insights based on market intelligence.
Ensuring customer target base is documented and kept up to date.
* Responsible for advertising in various types of media, including social media and press releases.
* Drive website traffic by developing SEO strategies, content updates, user experience strategies and troubleshooting web issues
* Acts as a brand steward, upholding the My Green Earth Beef brand identity, trademark standards and consistency in all projects.
* Developing strong relationships with new and potential customers and ensuring a consistent customer-focused approach.
* Evaluating new business development opportunities and continually reviewing effectiveness of ongoing activity ensuring that commercial focus is a priority.
* Analyzing and monitoring effectiveness of all business development and sales activity to ensure that initiatives and marketing budget spend delivers expected return on investment.
* Liaising with leadership to talk through the business development process to generate and convert opportunities and cultivate target relationships, acting as a sounding board for live opportunities and delivering regular sales & marketing updates.
* Actively engaging with customers to ensure all marketing activities are maximized and managing the development of My Green Earth Beef brand awareness within the target markets
* Developing and implementing communications campaigns which enhance market positioning.
* Work with internal teams to deliver outstanding presentations to build relationships with clients
* Provides timely response to customer inquiries, problems and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
*Recommended Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
* At least 5 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in the beef industry
* Exceptional analytical, marketing and project management skills
* Strong relationship building and customer service skills
* Self-motivated, strong sense of urgency
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
* Must be able to travel to focus on networking and business development
* Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.
00 - $80,000.
